About the company

Founded in 2002, the name camunda was closely connected to the founder and managing director Bernd Rücker and his specialized expertise in BPM. Until 2007 customers have been successfully consulted, especially in jBPM, JBoss and Java EE projects.

In April 2008 the camunda services GmbH was founded together with Jakob Freund. The company is dedicated entirely to BPM – from business to IT. This results in a team whose members show integrated skills based on their profound education and experience. This enables us to solve the ubiquitous problem of bridging the gap between business and IT more effectively.

We share a vision: In the next 10 years, BPM will be – in combination with other disciplines such as SOA and Business Intelligence – the most important mean for organizing information-centric companies or divisions.

We also share a conviction: formalisms, status symbols and buzz-word bingo slow down productivity and are tedious. In dealing with all our partners and with each other, we apply a direct, honest and fearless communication. We want all employees of our customers to benefit from our work – not just the shareholders. We consider our work to be fun. No joke.
