JBoss Drools 5 Training
The two-day training conveys the necessary tools to successfully apply the Open Source Rule Engine JBoss Drools in your own projects.
At the end of the training you will understand the ideas of Business Rules Management, you will have learned the description of business rules and you will know the linkage with process management. You will be able to implement the theoretical knowledge with JBoss Drools, use and integrate the rule engine. E.g. in a small Java application, in combination with a process engine (for example Activiti) or in an enterprise-wide SOA.
Target Group
Java-Developer, IT-Architects, Business Analysts.
You should at least have basic Java programming knowledge in order to be able to follow the technical part of the training – which is the bigger part.

- Additional rules input formats (decision tables, domain-specific language (DSL), “Guided Rule Editor”, …)
- Algorithm of the Rule Engines (RETE) and consequencs for the usage

- Drools Guvnor as a Business Rules Management System (BRMS)
- Implemantation of rules in BPMN 2.0 processes with the example of Activiti
